Prescott’s YC Baseball Set for Zinger Bat Invitational

After seeing competitors for the primary time final weekend, the Yavapai Faculty baseball group returns to motion this weekend on the Zinger Bat Invitational in Mesa, Arizona at Sloan Park – the spring coaching dwelling of the Chicago Cubs.

The Roughriders have been a mainstay within the annual match, and this weekend 10 groups will compete: Central Arizona, GateWay, South Mountain, Pima, CSN, Salt Lake, New Mexico Junior Faculty, El Paso, Lamar and the Roughriders. For YC, their baseball week begins on Friday, February 3, with a ten am matchup in opposition to the No. 1 ranked, defending Nationwide Champion Central Arizona Faculty Vaqueros. Then, at 2 pm on Friday, the Roughriders will tackle the New Mexico Junior Faculty Thunderbirds. Each video games will happen on Subject No. 6 at Sloan Park.

After the doubleheader, the Roughriders head to Crimson Mountain Excessive Faculty on Saturday for a 2 pm meet with El Paso Neighborhood Faculty. After the El Paso matchup, the Roughriders will play their time, opponent and discipline TBD on Sunday, nevertheless that sport shall be at Sloan Park.
